Brite Smile is the patented blue light tooth whitening technique that actually works by turning the pulp or center of the tooth white leaving the outer surface untouched. Similar if not identical systems exist including the increasingly popular Zoom teeth whitening system and the rarer but equally effective SoniWhite. The big differences between the systems is one purely of marketting and the way Brite Smile cleverly does not ever sell it's systems to dentists (they can only usually be rented) meaning that the price difference is often less pronounced between Hungary and the rest of the world when compared to other dental proceedures.

Teeth whitening can be used to effectively remove stains and with laser whitening systems to actually go further and bleach or whiten the insides of the teeth - the area of the tooth called the pulp which can quite naturally be varying shades of yellow which shines through the outer tooth enamel thus yellowing the the overall colour of the teeth.
